This Digory was resident at 44 Victoria Street.if this identification is correct he might also be the son of EdwardMORCOM and Alice HARRIS christened 5 jan 1806 in Gwennap. However there is also a possible burial for this Diggory (02059) in Gwennap on 17 Mar 1807

1906 Miner in Morning Star, Mount Magnet, Coolgardie.Occupation Note: Like his brother Thomas, Diggery struggled to make the poor land pay, and he had to supplement his income with work elsewhere. Mrs MORCOM [assumed to be his wife] wrote in 1907, "We will pay the rents owed when Mr Diggery returns." As no other Diggory has been found in WA, it is assumed that this is the Coolgardie miner.

GENERAL NOTE:
Raylene MORCOM writes that her Great Grandparents, Diggery and Sarah, after much hardship, bought a property at Pomonal which is near Stawell. This property and the original cottage is still (1986) owned by Raylene's father. The cottage has been restored to its original state and is called "Sarah Jane's Cottage".Kym EDWARDS writes that Diggery and Sarah Jane had nine children between 1877 and c.1894.
