There is burial on 25 June 1802 in Gwennap. If this is Mary nee WILLIAMS it explains the gap in children born to either this or the other Diggory MORCOM and Mary nee WILLIAMS couples between 1799 & 1805 when Diggory jnr starts another sequence of baptisms

From the evidence of parish records only, it is very difficult to separate this couple's children from those of the identically named couple who married on 26 July 1792 (cf Diggory (06340) and from the children of the marriage of Diggory MORCOM and Mary nee THOMAS on 13 Sep 1806 in Gwennap.Our still speculative assumption is that the last of the children of the Mary WILLIAMS, who married in 1792, may have been Elizabeth bapt. 1799. There is then a gap of six years in Gwennap baptisms with parents named as Diggory MORCOM and Mary. During this period there is a death of a Mary MORCOM [was this Mary nee WILLIAMS?] in 1802 in Gwennap parish. The Diggory (04904), born in 1805, is presumably the one mentioned in the will of Digory (05309) and is, like most of his younger siblings [also mentioned in the same will], associated in later life with the Tresamble Downs, Frogpool, Cusgarne Coomon, Lower Town area, whereas the Diggory/Mary nee THOMAS family seems to have lived for many years in Crofthandy.
