If Ann was the Mary Ann MARTIN who married James CHEGWIDDEN in 1830, at about 16 yrs of age, then we must assume that her mother Mary was married for a second time after Ann's birth.However an alternative possibility is that the suspect IGI marriage of Ann MORCOM in 1836 in St Gluvias is correct. If so then she could be Jane Ann [14587] dau. of Digory MORCOM and Mary nee WILLIAMS chr. in Camborne or Gwennap on 12 Nov 1814, and her mother could have been chr. 2 Oct 1774in St Gluvias (adjacent to Perranworthal) dau. of Joseph and Mary. IGI has death of Jane Ann MORCOM in12 Nov 1890 but this is highly dubious with no record found in GRO. Note: her daughter was Jane Ann CHEGWIDDENNote also that researching this family is complicated by the presence in Ponsanooth during the same period of a Peter CHEGWIDDEN [brother of James] married to Mary who also had children named Ann and James baptised in St Gluvias within a year or two of the children of James and [Mary] Ann
