There are two clues to the possible existence of this child who might have died in infancy. His/her sibling Samuel was described as the fifth of nine children in his Wikipaedia article. Also the passenger list of the Orator, in 1849, shows Ann MORCOM and five unnamed children. Only John, Mary, James and Samuel are known to have been born in Cornwall.
