Residence Notes:
Charles is probably the C.MORCOM, miner, 1498 in the 1892 Barrier Miner Handbook, South Broken Hill Street Directory, which only lists heads of household. Unknown whether 1498 is a PO number or an employee/pay number.
The "Barrier Miner" reports a dau. of Charles & Georgina was born on March 9th [year unknown] at Wilson St.,South Broken Hill. This could have been Gertrude in 1892 or Verna in 1893, though there is always the possibility that this is an unknown daughter.
If Charles headed straight for Boulder from Albany port, he would have arrived in January when temperatures are often over 100 degrees F. - a good enough reason, in itself, for his family following later.
His 1898 address comes from page 142 WA Post Office Directory 1898. Great Boulder was the early name for Boulder, which is now combined into the City Municipality of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The family may have, initially, lived in a tent.

The parents of Charles MORCOM were living in Par in 1881..
