GENERAL NOTES:
PROBLEM: Why was she named Ethel Dadey TWIDLE in the 1896 birth register when she is not known to be in in George DADDEY's household until the 1901 Census? Was he already linked to the family in some way in 1896, though the first child registered to him and Ann Maria was Alice in 1899
How did Ethel DADDEY, of a Yorkshire family come to marryJames ReginaldMORCOM whose links c. 1917 were otherwise entirely Falmouth and Devonport linked? James's father was in the Navy. Could James himself have been in the Navy or merchant navy in c.1917. Another possibility is that there could have been a trade link between Devon & Conrnwall and the tin industry in which Ethel was working c. 1911. The only confirmation that we have identified the correct James R MORCOM is that both James and Ethel died in Plymouth
